Content Repurposing for Pinterest

by Rea@webmarketingproject

Best practices for reusing content on Pinterest

You will likely be creating a lot of quality content for your business. Pinterest is a platform that gives you a way to repurpose your content and make it work even better in the marketing strategy of your choice. With Pinterest, you are better able to create a stream of targeted content to keep your audience engaged and coming back for more.

You don’t need to start your own blog to pin content on Pinterest (although I recommend it!). You can repurpose your content and pin it appropriately. For example, if you have a blog post about what social media tools are the best for business, pin it on one of your marketing, blogging-related, or marketing-related boards!

Let’s explore some ways to make putting your content on Pinterest a little bit easier.

Restructuring content

Re-use your social media content

You want to make sure you’re sharing graphics and infographics designed for Pinterest on social media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, or your website homepage. Make sure the graphic scales for mobile viewing on these places by keeping the vertical width in mind when it’s adapted. It means a shorter view on an app will result in more clicks than holding, like, or button on a longer vertically-scaled image.

Utilize Canva and use the feature “Resize.”

This part features some affiliate links. It means we’ll earn a small commission or reward if you purchase through these links.

Canva has an accessible copy-and-resize feature; you can utilize it to transform a formatted chart into a Pinterest-sized graphic.

Use text-only content over image-heavy content

Consider repurposing it to inspire a Pinterest image you can use as a collection that features just text if text-only parts of your blog post have been turned into an idea about something else,

Repurpose into Additional Pinterest Pin Formats

“Pinterest has static pins, video pins, and idea pins. You can repurpose graphics and adjust them slightly.”

You can ensure that your content posts don’t put video or idea pins on Pinterest, but adding additional formats of pins (images or short text) will increase the chances of people repinning pins from you.

Use Tailwind Create

Tailwind also offers a feature called Tailwind Create. It lets you easily create new sets of pins. Just enter fonts, colors, text, and photos, and it will generate a workable collection to choose from right away. Then, you select the pins that fit your brand and look good – or you can edit individual designs that are generated by Tailwind Create.

Conclusion

Pinterest is all about new content. it is important to create new pins consistently. So, save lots of time by creating your designs in batches, and let’s work together on a strategy that fits your needs. Optimize existing content guidelines
